The purpose of the Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps is to "instill in students the value of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment." The main focus of the NJROTC program is you. It is designed to assist you on improving yourself, as well as your fellow cadets. The NJROTC program offers many opportunities in which you can learn the Core Values of honor, courage, and commitment and qualities such as self-discipline, cooperation, and team work. With this program, you will be able to participate in competitions against other schools in personal appearance, team drills, academics, and athletics. NJROTC also participates in many community service activites.
